Iced Tea

Ingredients

8 bags tea (I used Lipton Decaf Black)

      or 2 bags Luzianne Decaf Family size
2 oz ReaLemon (optional, most of the time I do not add this)
2 Tbsp Stevia In The Raw
6 cups water
1/8 tsp or a pinch Backing Soda

2 cups of Ice (see instructions)

2 L pitcher
2 L safe pitcher - Pyrex (Borosilicate glass) or similar, for boiling water

Cooking Instructions

  1. Boil 6 cups water
  2. Add Baking Soda to pitcher
  3. Add Truvia to safe pitcher
  4. Add boiling water to safe pitcher
  5. Add tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes
  6. Discard tea bags
  7. Add 2 cups of ice to second pitcher
  8. Pour tea from safe pitcher into second pitcher with ice
  9. Add ReaLemon (optional, most of the time I do not add this)
  10. In a 2 L pitcher, add ice to fill to top
  11. Mix well, melting the ice
  12. Refrigerate
