Creme De Menthe Brownies

Ingredients

Bottom
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
½ c. butter
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs, beaten
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate syrup

Middle
2 Tbsp. creme de menthe (or 4-7T)
2 c. 10x sugar (Confectioner's 10X powered sugar)
½ c. butter

Top
6 oz. chocolate chips
6 Tbsp. butter

Cooking Instructions

Bottom layer: Mix the first 7 ingredients and pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Middle layer: Mix the 1/2 cup butter, creme de menthe, and 10x sugar; spread on cooled cake.

Top layer: Melt together the chocolate chips and 6 tablespoons butter. Spread on hardened creme de menthe layer.
Allow top layer to harden and cut into squares.

Note:
- Takes 3 hours from start to finish with cooling steps
- To melt chocolate, pulverize in food processor and pour powdered chocolate into fully melted butter; stir to fully melt chocolate. Microwave at 7 second intervals if needed for additional melting. (Maybe twice in the microwave)
