Ingredients

1 40 oz can Bruce's can of yams
4 T butter (melted)
1/4 C pure maple syrup
1/8 C milk
1/4 tsp cinnamon plus extra for sprinkling on top just before serving

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350º
Place yams and syrup in shallow baking dish.
Bake for 20 -30 minutes basting often
Warm syrup in small pot. Bring to boil. Remove from heat. Add milk and melted butter.
Drain syrup from can of yams.
Combine with yams and 1/4 tsp cinnamon.
Mix using mixer starting at slowest speed. Increase speed slowly to max to whip mixture.
Lightly sprinkle extra cinnamon on top.
Serve warm.
Canned yams are used in the interest of time.
